  • Knockback: 9,000
  • EXP: 5,750
A monster from Timeless Temple, it can be found in flame zone. It casts an avoidable magic attack by concentrating magic into a sphere, then releasing it. Oddly enough, it is weak to Poison. As of KMS patch 1.2.89, this monster is now also weak to Ice and Lightning.
Dodo

Boss

  • Level: 121
  • HP: 5,900,000
  • MP: 2,000
  • Avoid: 42
  • Knockback: 10,000
  • EXP: 20,850

  • HP: 123,000
  • MP: 320
  • Avoid: 43
  • Knockback: 9,000
  • EXP: 6,150
A monster from Timeless Temple, it can be found in flame zone. This one has three attacks, either it's helpers will both attack you or the master himself will cast spells to hit you, one is avoidable, one is unavoidable. Oddly enough, it is weak to Poison. As of KMS patch 1.2.89, this monster is now also weak to Ice and Lightning.
Papulatus Clock

Boss
Summons Low Darkstar and High Darkstar

  • Level: 125
  • HP: 23,000,000
  • MP: 2,000,000
  • Avoid: 12
  • Knockback: 10,000
  • EXP: 596,000
A steady speed monster. Papulatus occasionally retreats inside its clock, rendering it invincible, which lets it regain HP. However, in this state, it is also unable to hurt you. It is capable of stunning, doing a lightning attack, and using Fallen One to reduce your HP/MP to 1, though arguably the most annoying skill it possess is Dispel, which removes all your beneficial enchantments (Magic Guard, Rage, Haste, Bless, etc.) For a mage, this move is often fatal. Summoned by the defeat of the Time Sphere at the base of the Clock Tower. Can only be fought Twice a day.
Papulatus

Boss

  • Level: 125
  • HP: 1,590,000
  • MP: 800
  • Avoid: 40
  • Knockback: 12,000
  • EXP: 970,000
After Papulatus is separated from its ride, it starts to zoom around at a VERY fast speed, but seems unable to conjure any attacks other than its physical ram. It's still fairly fatal though, doing around 5000 damage that is enough to instantly kill an archer or hermit (Chief Bandits can use Meso Guard to get around that). Like Jr. Boogie, it can't hit you if you crouch. It drops many important items and 4th job skills, and is hunted very actively. In GlobalMS, Papulatus drops Papulatus's Curl, an item needed to upgrade Ancient Armor into the powerful Bosshunter Gear.
Silver Monk
  • Level: 125
  • HP: 225,000
  • MP: 450
  • Avoid: 45
  • Knockback: 1,000
  • EXP: 7,500
A monster which appears in the CangJing Tower of Shaolin Temple, strong and high avoid. Although its HP is higher than the monster of its level, it isn't Boss. It can drop some skill books as well.
Silver Giant
  • Level: 125
  • HP: 225,000
  • MP: 450
  • Avoid: 45
  • Knockback: 1,000
  • EXP: 7,500
A strong monster which appears in the CangJing Tower of Shaolin Temple.Note that he isn't Boss. His gigantic hammer may seem dangerous, it is actually quite weak when it comes to damage. He can drop skill books as well.
Oblivion Guardian
  • Level: 128
  • HP: 133,000
  • MP: 340
  • Avoid: 45
  • Knockback: 10,000
  • EXP: 6,670
A monster from Timeless Temple. It can be found in flame zone. It's slow moving and doesn't appear to be armed at first. However, when engaged in combat, it's arms will appear and it will summon an axe that it uses to attack you. Also, it can use it's arms to attack you. Strangely despite it's nature, it's weak to Poison. As of KMS patch 1.2.89, this monster is now also weak to Ice and Lightning.
Female Boss

Boss
Attacks without warning.

  • Level: 130
  • HP: 75,000,000
  • MP: 10,000
  • Avoid: 43
  • Knockback: 1,000
  • EXP: 3,900,000
This is the boss of choice for many players to take down since you can fight it in all channels. However if your party to take it down contains many leechers, expect yourself to be kill-stealed without warning. (Update: As of Patch 1.18 of JMS, it can do up to 18000 damage with its slap now.) She hates any type of light spell, so shes susceptible to Holy and Lightning skills. Commonly referred to as Anego. Located in the map just before the big boss, at the end of Showa Hideout. In GlobalMS, her gun attack is replaced by a ranged punch, but the deadly slap remains.

  • MP: 280
  • Avoid: 40

A small blue toad. It's tougher than it looks. Required to get one of its ETC to be able to access the first Neo Tokyo map. Summoned by the Big Toad form of Emperor, located in Zipangu's Ninja Castle.
Little Golden Monk
  • Level: 130
  • HP: 270,000
  • MP: 550
  • Avoid: 75
  • Knockback: 1,000
  • EXP: 8,000
One of the two non-Boss type monsters with highest levels. It has low attack, but has high avoidability. It can also drop a variety of skill books but the rate is extremely low. Appears in the ShaoLin Temple's CangJing Tower.
Golden Giant
  • Level: 130
  • HP: 270,000
  • MP: 550
  • Avoid: 75
  • Knockback: 1,000
  • EXP: 8,000
One of the two highest-leveled non-boss type monsters in the game. It has high avoidability, and can be found on the 7th floor of Shaolin Temple's Cangjing Tower. In Chinese tespia, its attack can go as high as 15000, but they lowered it when the map is released in the public servers. He can also drop a variety of skill books with a low rate.
Golden Giant

Boss
JMS only

  • Level: 130
  • HP: 85,000,000
  • MP: 1000
  • Avoid: 35
  • Knockback: 50,000
  • EXP: 4,000,000
Can only be found on the 7th floor of JMS's version of Shaolin Temple's Cangjing Tower. His HP is very high and his damage can go as high as 12,000, so he is a dangerous Boss. You must to be careful when facing it. In some ways, it's comparable to the Female Boss in Showa Town, Anego.
Margana

Boss

  • Level: 130
  • HP: 200,000,000
  • MP: 50,000,000
  • Avoid: 42
  • Knockback: 20,000
  • EXP: 4,300,000
One of the four Twisted Masters found at the end of Crimsonwood Keep Party Quest. She's quite dangerous, capable of Zombifying opponents, leaving poison clouds around, and summon the extremely deadly Dark Menhir. since she can also heal her fellow Masters, it would be wise to take her out quickly. She's also immune to Holy, and resistant to Fire, Ice and Lightning, leaving Poison as the sole effective element. Her name is "Anagram" backwards, and may also be a play on the famous magician Morgana.
Red Nirg

Boss

  • Level: 130
  • HP: 255,000,000
  • MP: 10,000,000
  • Avoid: 39
  • Knockback: 80,000
  • EXP: 4,550,000
One of the four Twisted Masters found at the end of Crimsonwood Keep Party Quest. Possibly the toughest of all, he has the most HP and a myriad of formidable abilities, such as summoning 10 Windraiders, Stormbreakers, Nightshadows, or Firebrands, and summoning 5 Crimson Guardians. He has Super Knockback, stun, and when he is defeated, revives into the Azure Ocelot and Scarlet Phoenix, two ninjas who will further carry on the troublesome nature of the fight. Be especially careful to watch for the Attack Up buff, which can increase his damage by over 1,000. Since he can add a lot of new monsters to the already crowded area, you may want to take him out next. Fortunately, he is neutral to all elements. His name is "Grinder" backwards, and can also be seen as "Red Grin", related to the obnoxious facial expression. Red Nirg may drop the one of its axes (Redner Lv80) when defeated.
Rellik

Boss

  • Level: 130
  • HP: 231,000,000
  • MP: 20,000,000
  • Avoid: 45
  • Knockback: 15,000
  • EXP: 4,450,000
One of the four Twisted Masters found at the end of Crimsonwood Keep Party Quest. He can simultaneously inflict 1/1 and poison, which can be quite scary, as well as stun, or cast seal if caught in his lightning elemental Arrow Rain. Watch out for the Super Knockback as well, because you may end up flying into a Dark Menhir or other deadly obstacle. Last but not least, he can call out the Black Bird summon to fight alongside him, adding to the difficulty of the battle. His name is "Killer" backwards, and he certainly can live up to it!
Hsalf

Boss

  • Level: 130
  • HP: 233,000,000
  • MP: 20,000,000
  • Avoid: 55
  • Knockback: 15,000
  • EXP: 4,510,000
One of the four Twisted Masters found at the end of Crimsonwood Keep Party Quest. He has high avoid and insanely high defense (8,000), making him practically immune to ranged attackers. He lacks many of the tricky attributes of his cohorts, sticking only with a haste-like skill. Still, don't disregard his contributions, as when combined with the others it can be extremely deadly. Watch out for the Shadow Meso Explosion and other wide-ranged attacks, which just may catch you unaware while preoccupied with other Masters. His name backwards is "Flash" He is currently the fastest enemy in the game, with a speed of 95.
