Marc Dorcel is a French producer of pornographic films who founded the company Video Marc Dorcel. Besides producing films by himself, he also produces films in partnership with people like Michel Ricaud and Michel Barny. Dorcel is known for the long-running Pornochic film series, featuring many of Europe's most well known adult film stars.

Dorcel's projects are often filmed in exotic European locations, and have been awarded for their high production values: characterizing them as films with a degree of artfulness and attention to detail in hardcore pornography. Dorcel's contemporaries include the established pornographic director/producers Andrew Blake, Viv Thomas and Michael Ninn.

To help change the image of sexualities in this way, Marc Dorcel is backing the project of the Pascal Vanhoecke gallery for ARTPARIS+GUESTS[1]. Marc Dorcel also supports the AIDES association.

Distribution deals

The company's films are distributed in the U.S. by Wicked Pictures.[2]

On March 1, 2006, Dorcel launched Dorcel TV, a cable and satellite service broadcasting adult films. [3] Dorcel TV is also available online. Video Marc Dorcel has also expanded to include a range of gay pornographic content.

In August 2008, Private Media Group announced it has established an alliance with Video Marc Dorcel to collaborate in the home video market. The collaboration starts with a three year DVD distribution agreement for France and going forward it is expected that Private and Marc Dorcel will explore additional opportunities in other territories. It is also expected that Private and Marc Dorcel will join forces on distribution platforms including Internet and IPTV/VOD in both France and across the EU. [4]

The studio's content is also available online through [5]

Melissa Lauren has starred in several Dorcel films, and in 2004 Priscila Sol signed an exclusive performance contract with the company.[2]
