Marcus Thomas (born on September 23, 1985) is a football defensive tackle who plays on the Denver Broncos. He was formerly part of the University of Florida football team until November 2006 when he was kicked off the team for violating the terms of his reinstatement from a drug suspension. He missed curfew, went on an unapproved out of town trip, and skipped a mandatory drug counseling session.

He originally signed with the University of Florida from Jacksonville, Florida's Mandarin High School, where he was an All-State performer.

Thomas is an Anthropology major.

On April 29, Thomas was picked 121st (4th round) in the 2007 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos.[1] On July 11, Thomas signed a 4-year contract with the club worth a reported $3 million.[2]
