Mark Wayne Salling (born August 17, 1982)[1] is an actor and musician. He currently plays the character Noah "Puck" Puckerman on Fox's hit musical comedy Glee.[2]

Salling was raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, Texas, in 2001. Salling later attended the Los Angeles Music Academy.
Salling sings, writes, and plays guitar in a solo project under the stage name Jericho. Jericho's debut album, Smoke Signals, was released in 2010.[3] He sang a cover version of Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" on an episode of Glee.[4]
