The English Mastweiler is a hybrid breed with both a Rottweiler and an English mastiff parent. The dog can weigh up to around 150 lbs depending on the genes. Generally the dog will take the Rottweiler body and the Bullmastiff facial features, but may be any blend of the two root breeds. The breed is loyal however can be possessive. It is recommended that you take your puppy to obedience classes. You should have experience in at least one of the breeds in the dog. They only generally, follow one leader so children will have to constantly be around the dog from puppyhood.
