Coming Calamities etc - Matt 24:34

1./ The "All Kinds of " interpretation

This interpretation hinges on the word often translated "All" ie PANTA in greek.

If the word "all" is translated as (All kinds of) ie (some of all types) in this verse you get:

I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until PANTA (all kinds of) these things have happened. Matthew 24:34

Proving PANTA can be " All kinds of" in the origonal Greek sometimes.

Strongs definition of the word "All" ie Greek: PANTA ie PAS :Strongs number 3956
       1. used individually
"each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything"
       2. used collectively
             .."some of all types"

so the collective interpretation of PANTA is "some of all types" ie "all kinds of"

Like in the following verses "All" ie PANTA is best translated “all kinds of”. Acts 10:12, 1 Tim 5:10, 1 Tim 6:10, 1 Cor 9:22, 1 Cor 12:6

eg (For the love of money is a root of PANTA [ all kinds of ] evil. 1 Timothy 6:10)

so inserting the above useage of PANTA into this verse

I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all kinds of these things have happened. Matthew 24:34

The above interpretation using "all kinds of " resolves many difficulties.

Note - presumably there is no page division in the origonal text between verse verse 28 and 29. So Jesus was looking at the verses 4 - 32 as a block when he said this generation will certainly not pass away until all kinds of these things have happened. So every single individual event does not have to happen before the generation Jesus talked to passed away. , Nevertheless all types of catastrophes did happen. edit
