Max Bretos is an American soccer and professional wrestling broadcaster working for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). As one of the newest announcers for WWE, he made his debut interviewing an angry Vladimir Kozlov. And he also interviewed Shane McMahon for WWE.com hours before the April 9, 2007 edition of Raw. He appeared on the June 8, 2007 edition of SmackDown! interviewing Edge and Jamie Noble. He is now the play-by-play analyst for the FCW broadcast team, alongside color commentator Dusty Rhodes.

Max Bretos is also the primary announcer for Major League Soccer matches and select other games on Fox Soccer Channel, a continuation of his relationship with its predecessor, Fox Sports World. His duties for the network have included Primera DivisiĆ³n Argentina, Serie A (Italy), La Liga (Spain), MLS, the CONCACAF Champions' Cup, the CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup, as well as international friendlies. He has also been the announcer for FSN West/Prime Ticket's coverage of the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Bretos previously appeared on Soccer AM's All-Sports Show in the United Kingdom, where he would present sports news from the U.S., including reports on MLS, the NFL and the NBA.

Bretos attended the Judith Weston Acting Studio in Los Angeles, California, and played outside half / inside center for Santa Monica Rugby Club.
