Megalyn Ann Echikunwoke (born May 28, 1983) is an American actress. She is known for playing Nicole Palmer in the first season of 24, as Isabelle Tyler in The 4400, and as Dr. Tara Price in CSI: Miami. She played the role of Carmen in the feature film Fix. She currently has a recurring role as Amelia Mkali on Raising the Bar.

Echikunwoke was born in Spokane, Washington. Despite having been raised on a Navajo Indian Reservation in Chinle, Arizona. She is the daughter of a Nigerian father and a White American mother.[1] She has a brother named Miki and a sister named Misty.
Echikunwoke was a series regular in the sci-fi series The 4400, playing the adult version of the mysterious Isabelle Tyler since the beginning of season 3. Echikunwoke left the show in 2007 after her character sacrificed herself. Not long after Echikunwoke left the show, it was dropped by its production company. Echikunwoke has previously starred in the MTV soap opera Spyder Games as Cherish Pardee, a coffee house singer. Other notable characters include the daughter in Like Family.
She has had guest roles in numerous shows including The Steve Harvey Show, Boston Public, ER, What I Like About You, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, That '70s Show, Veronica Mars, and in 2005, Supernatural. She also had a recurring role during the first season of 24. She can also be seen in the upcoming films, "Who do you Love" and Fix.
In season 7 of CSI: Miami (2008) she joined the cast as the new Medical Examiner Dr. Tara Price, replacing the character of Dr. Alexx Woods, played by Khandi Alexander. She was written off in the episode "Dissolved"(7-24), as Tara was busted by Ryan Wolfe (Jonathan Togo) for stealing patients' prescription drugs.
Echikunwoke landed a recurring role in at least three episodes of TNT's Raising the Bar in June 2009. She played the love interest of attorney Marcus McGrath played by J. August Richards.[2]
