Metaboli is an online video game service with headquarters in France. Users may either purchase games outright or pay a monthly fee so that they can access the company's library of games. As of November 2008, subscribers can access either 223 or 354 games depending on their subscription tier.
The company purchased GameTap from Turner Broadcasting System in September 2008.[1]

The company began operations in France in October 2002.[2]
By the time they expanded to the United Kingdom in July 2005, they
already had some 15,000 subscribers.[3]
Since then, the service has expanded from 45 titles to over
300.
As of December 2009, the service as expanded to include access to 571 games via the UK mirror.
