Mexican Restaurants, Inc. (NASDAQ: CASA) currently has 58 company operated restaurants, 19 franchise restaurants and one licensed restaurant. Headquartered in Houston, Texas,[2] the company operates six different concepts, which include Casa Ole, Crazy Jose's, Monterey's Tex Mex Cafe, Monterey's Little Mexico, Tortuga Mexican Kitchen and La Senorita. While a large majority of their restaurants are located in Texas, they also operate restaurants in Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Michigan.[3]
In 2008 MRI Changed the names of its Oklahoma locations to Monterey's Little Mexico to have more uniformity within its concepts. To further streamline operations MRI sold the La Senorita concept and purchased the Mission Burrito chain based in Houston.
