Michael Paul Stephenson (born February 28, 1978, in Salt Lake City, Utah) is an American actor, screenwriter, and director. He is perhaps best known for his lead role in the 1990 horror film Troll 2 as Joshua Waits. He also directed Best Worst Movie a feature-length documentary about Troll 2 which debuted March 14, 2009.

In addition to his film work, Stephenson is an active entrepreneur and has ventures in the Salt Lake City area. He currently resides in Westwood, California.
