Michael James Bailey[1] (born 6 April 1988) is an English actor and singer from Bristol best known for playing the role of Sid Jenkins in the first two series of the British teen drama Skins.

Before he began acting, he attended Downend Comprehensive School.
There was much publicity given to him when he worked at Topman. After the filming of the first series of Skins, a radio station found out where he was working and asked people to go there and take photos of him. He was given the rest of the day off.
Mike Bailey studies Performing Arts at college.[2][3]
Bailey has presented the award for "Best solo artist" with his Skins co-star's Hannah Murray at the 2007 NME Music Awards.
In the Skins series 1 finale he sang the lead role in a group musical ensemble version of "Wild World" by Cat Stevens. He recorded the song and sang it himself. Bailey, along with most of the main cast of series 1 and 2, did not return for the third series. He has also appeared in the Channel 4 drama 1066: The Battle for Middle Earth as "Tofi", which was broadcast in May 2009.
