Mike Posner is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. He has collaborated with such artists as Kid Cudi, Wale, Big Sean, Bun B, One Be Lo, Eric Holljes, and 3OH!3. He worked with Don Cannon and DJ Benzi on his first mixtape, "A Matter of Time," which was released in early 2009.[1] In early 2009, he hired manager Daniel Weisman of Elitaste, Inc, who also manages Wale.
In July 2009, Posner signed a major label deal with J Records (RCA/Sony).[2] Posner chose to return to Duke University after signing his record deal. He is currently touring on the weekends and recording his debut album.[3][4] Posner's second mixtape, "One Foot Out The Door" was released on October 27, 2009.
He is a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
He is known for his strong nationwide buzz off of his mixtapes and his high-energy sold out shows.
His debut album is expected to be released in late Summer 2010. He will be performing on all 42 dates of the 2010 Warped Tour this summer.

On October 29, 2009, Posner released his second mixtape, One Foot Out The Door. The mixtape is hosted by Clinton Sparks, and features the likes of Kid Cudi. Big Sean, Bun B, Saigon, GLC, 3OH!3, Freddie Gibbs, and XV.
It was originally released on iTunes U, the education division of Apple's iTunes, but was taken down after Apple deemed it uneducational. It, along with Posner's first mixtape, can be downloaded for free on www.mikeposner.com.
