Mirko Novosel (born June 30, 1938 in Zagreb, Croatia, formerly SFR Yugoslavia) is a former Yugoslav basketball player and coach.
He played from 1952 to 1966. As a coach, he led Yugoslavia national team to the silver medal in 1974 FIBA World Championship in 1974, silver medal in Montreal Olympics in 1976 and bronze medal in Los Angeles Olympics in 1984.

He also coached Cibona Zagreb to three Yugoslav League titles, seven Yugoslav Cups and a Champions Cup title in 1985, when he was named the European Coach of the Year. He was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on September 7th, 2007.
