Miss América Latina 1990 was the seventh international edition of the Miss América Latina contest, and the ninth overall. The final event was held on October 26, 1990 in San Salvador, El Salvador. At the conclusion of the pageant, Vanessa Holler of Venezuela was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Suzanne Hannaux of El Salvador..[1]

  • Colombia last competed in 1987.
  • Despite competing in 1989, Chile, Paraguay and Spain did not participate this year.
  • Of the countries that placed, Brazil, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Puerto Rico also placed in 1989.
  • Ecuador last placed in 1984, and Panama in 1986. Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela all last placed in 1987.
