Mituhisa Ishikawa (石川 光久 Ishikawa Mitsuhisa) is Japanese entrepreneur of anime, the co-founder and current president and CEO of Production I.G, as well as a leading producer for the studio. He was also a former executive at Bee Train from 1997-2006.[1][2]
Ishikawa has acted as Executive animation Producer for the anime sequence The Origin of Ren in Kill Bill, and has been the producer for the original Ghost in the Shell films.[3] In 2005 Ishikawa joined on his first joint Japanese-U.S. collaboration, since the opening of the Production I.G branch in Los Angeles, on IGPX: Immortal Grand Prix, a joint production with Production I.G and Cartoon Network.[4] Ishikawa has also produced for Batman: Gotham Knight and for Halo Legends.
