Miziya (Bulgarian: Мизия) is a town and municipality in northwestern Bulgaria near the Danube river and the town of Kozloduy, in Vratsa Province. The municipality has a territory of 207 sq. metres and a population of 4,086 as of 2004. The town's original name was Bukyovtsi (Букьовци); an urban-type settlement, it was merged with Glozhene in 1970 to create the town of Miziya (meaning "Moesia"), but the two were separated again 1975.
