Biography

Mohsen Emadi, born in Sari, north of Iran (1976), began writing poetry during his childhood. Early and rebel, he had been published in numerous magazines, but didn't want to collect his poems in a book, until Clara Janes published his first collection of poetry, La flor de los renglones, in Spain. He has studied computer science and cinema, and continues the works of contemporary Iranian poet Ahmad Shamlou to preserve native folklore. He has been invited to numerous poetry festivals in Europe, namely International Poetry Festival of Moncayo, Poet in resident of Casa de poetas, Mahalta International Poetry Festival, and International Symposium on Rumi. He is the founder and manager of several Iranian famous websites like: Ahmad Shamlou's official website and The house of world poets, a Persian anthology of world poetry, including more than 100 modern poets.
