Moises Arias (born April 18, 1994)[1] is an American teen actor. He is best known for his role as Rico on Hannah Montana.

Career

Arias' career has included guest appearances on shows such as The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and a reoccurring appearance as Rico on the show Hannah Montana,[2] where he became a series regular in the show's second season as the son of the owner of "Rico's" shop on the beach. As a regular on the Disney Channel, Arias participated on the first and second Disney Channel Games on the red team.[3] He also participated in the third Disney Channel games on the Yellow Team (Comets). He has also appeared in music videos for Pearl Jam, Jonas Brothers (SOS),[4] and Parmalee, and the movie Nacho Libre. He participated in the Guadalajara Film Festival (2009) during the presentation of the movie "The Perfect Game" together with Eva Longoria.[5][6] He and his brother directed a series of YouTube films under the user name Moiswashere. They're currently working on a film called Motocross Madness.[7] Arias appeared on the ESPN family of networks as a roving 'sideline' reporter conducting interviews with fans and players at the 2009 Little League World Series.

Personal life

Arias' parents are from the Paisa Region of Colombia, and he is fluent in Spanish.[8][9] Moises has a little brother, Mateo, who appeared as an extra on Hannah Montana several times, understudied for his brother, and had a speaking role in one episode as the character of Rico's brother. He was born in New York but was raised in Atlanta,Ga.[10]:)
