The Montreal Beavers were a minor-league professional American football team active between 1966 and 1967. It was based replaced the Quebec Rifles, which played in 1964 in Montreal as a member of the United Football League (1961)|UFL]] and left for Toronto to play in th Continental Football League. The Montreal team was the former Fort Wayne Warriors of the ConFL.

But like the Rifles, the Beavers were a shortlived team in the city and folded after 2 seasons of play. The franchise was moved and became the Indianapolis Capitols in 1968.

The team played in 1966 at Autostade, but they moved to le Stadium municipal de Verdun in Verdun, Quebec for their final season.[1]
