Morphological Flows and Sustainable Growth

Evolutionary Philosophy - where we came from and where we might be headed

Abstract: This is an e-book and e-course. The first part of the e-book integrates the tale of material morphogenesis, biological morphogenesis and our social/cultural morphogenesis in a hierarchical continuum of complexity. I call it The Morphological Flow Model, how energy coalesces to create shape. It forms the basis of a comprehensive, fact based evolutionary philosophy that answers the question of where we came from. In the second part of the e-book, we'll use morphologiclal flow principles analytically for problem solving in general and to specifically tackle the existential dilemma of the age: can we achieve sustainable growth. This work is intended for college and perhaps senior high school students. Presently the subject is being taught but in a fragmented and incoherent manner through departments of physics, astronomy, chemistry, biology, anthropology, sociology, philosophy, engineering, etc. This effort consolidates those disciplines in an umbrella survey course. This e-course is an automated, self study course offered on the Internet and accredited under the banner of evolutionary philosophy, as a general elective. Go To e-course Tests
