The Muslim Society of Washington, DC, Inc. (MSW) is a local non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to attain the highest efficacy through implementation of the best Islamic values.[2]
It was formed on the campus of Howard University and in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. MSW sponsors projects, programs, and events geared toward economic development, education, and social services. MSW also sponsors cookouts, sport tournaments, and competitions.[3][1][2]
Its President is Imam Johari Abdul-Malik, the outreach director for the Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center in Northern Virginia.[4][3]
