"My Heart Goes Bang" is the fourth and final single from Dead or Alive's second studio album Youthquake. It charted at #23 in the United Kingdom, #41 in Australia and became a huge dance hit in the U.S.
The Youthquake version was remixed into one 7inch single and two 12inch extended versions. This was then edited for and segued into the Rip It Up compilation released in 1987.
Parts of the music video depict lead singer Pete Burns in a leather jacket on the back of a motorcycle, and the band walking down a catwalk in sunglasses.
"My Heart Goes Bang" was remixed and re-recorded for Fragile and Unbreakable which were only available on Avex Label in Japan. (No Dead Or Alive Authorised video clip is known of by the author of this paragraph for the Japanese Market remixes.)
