My Week with Marilyn is an upcoming British drama film directed by Simon Curtis and starring Emma Watson, Michelle Williams, Dominic Cooper and Kenneth Branagh. Based on the book by Colin Clark, it depicts the making of the 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl which starred Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Oliver. In particular it focuses on the difficult interactions between the film's two stars. It began filming in September 2010.^[1]
