Dellanos is known for being a co-host of Univision's Primer Impacto from 1992 to 2005. The show's name was changed in March 1994 from Noticias y Mas two years after its debut.[1]
In 2004, People en Espanol named her their first ever "Estrella Del Año" (Star of the Year). At this point in Dellano's life, her interests seem to be leaning towards the humanitarian. Though she is still involved in various projects, she has taken a notable turn towards lending her name and efforts to helping orphans living in poverty.
Her hobbies include piano playing and ballet dancing.
Dellanos has been married one time. Her marriage was to Dr. Alejandro Loynaz. The couple had one child, daughter Alexa (born December 1993). She and Dr. Loynaz filed for divorce in 1998.
In February 2004, she began a highly publicized 2-year relationship with, and thought by some to be engaged to, Mexican star Luis Miguel, but after about 2 years, the couple privately ended their relationship.
