NHL 2K11 is an ice hockey video game currently in development by Visual Concepts that will be published by 2K Sports.
It was announced on March 3rd, 2010 as a Wii exclusive game.[1] It will most likely be released in September 2010 (it's not confirmed yet). It will be the first game since NHL 2K6 not to be released on Xbox 360 and the first game since NHL 2K7 not to be released on Playstation 3. Take-Two chairman Strauss Zelnick said that "As far as NHL, we're taking a year off on PS3 and Xbox 360 to refine, redesign and re-think".
Vancouver Canucks Alternate captain Ryan Kesler has been announced as cover athlete for NHL 2K11.[2]
