Nagamachi Subway Station

Nagamachi Station (長町駅 Nagamachi eki ?) is a station on the Sendai Subway Nanboku Line, and on JR East's JÅban Line and TÅhoku Main Line in Taihaku-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. The subway and JR lines are not directly connected, however, the distance between the two stations is only around two hundred meters.

  • November 2, 1894: Station begins operation as a military station of Nippon Railway.[1]
  • February 21, 1896: Station begins operation as a public station.[1]
  • July 15, 1987: Subway station opens.
