Neha Dhupia (Punjabi:ਨੇਹਾ ਧੂਪਿਯਾ, Hindi:नेहा धूपिया ) is an Indian actress and model who appears in Bollywood films. She is a former beauty queen and winner of Femina Miss India 2002.

Dhupia was born to a Punjabi sikh family. [1][2][3] Her father was Commander Pradip Dhupia, who served in the Indian Navy and mother is Manpinder. She went to Naval Public School, then transferred to Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi.[4] She completed her graduation in History (Hons) from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.[5]
Dhupia started her career with a play in New Delhi called Graffiti. Thereafter she did a music video for Indipop band Euphoria. She modeled for advertisement campaigns. She did the TV serial "Rajdhani". She did a song with Ginuwine & Shayal called "Baby". She entered the Femina Miss India pageant in 2002 and came in first place winning the Femina Miss India Universe title and was subsequently sent to Miss Universe 2002 pageant in Puerto Rico. She placed in the top 10. As no. 4
She began appearing in Bollywood films starting with Qayamat: City Under Threat (2003), a box office failure. She rose to popularity with her role in the film Julie. She had the dual role of twin sisters in Sheesha (2005) which did not do well at the box office. She has appeared in films such as Kyaa Kool Hai Hum (2005) and Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007) which did well at the box office and recently appeared in a segment of the anthology film Dus Kahaniyaan (2007).
Of late, Dhupia has starred in multiple critically and commercially acclaimed films including "Chup Chup Ke" (2006), "Ek Chalis Ki Last Local" (2007), "Mithya" (2008), "Maharathi" (2008), "Singh Is King" (2008) and "Dasvidaniya" (2008).
Two of her films released in 2009: "Paying Guest", and "De Dana Dan". She worked on her first international mini series with "Chris Kattan" for IFC called "Bollywood Hero", which aired August 6-8, 2009. She is working on Vipul Shah's next directorial venture Action Replay.
