The New Kids on the Block European Tour was a concert tour of Europe and Asia by New Kids on the Block that lasted from January 1991 to 1992.

Lip synching Scandal

On January 29 1992, while New Kids on the Block was touring in Australia, Greg MacPherson, a former sound engineer on Hangin' Tough, accused the group of not having sung 80% of the songs on the album, that Maurice Starr actually provided the lead vocals, and that they lip-synced in their concerts. At the time, the Milli Vanilli controversy had been having a negative effect on pop artists' credibility for over a year. Determined to prove the allegations wrong, the group rearranged their tour schedule, flew to Los Angeles to address the situation on The Arsenio Hall Show, and then flew back to finish the Australian leg of the tour.
