The New Zealand Listener is a New Zealand magazine, published by APN Holdings (also publisher of The New Zealand Herald). It covers a variety of topics, including current affairs, politics and entertainment. Its circulation figures as of 2006 are around 73,000. Pamela Stirling has been the editor since 2004. [1]

For many years it had a monopoly on the publication of upcoming television and radio programmes, a monopoly it only lost during the 1980s. Despite the increase in competition since that time, it is still regularly one of the top selling magazines in the country.

Since 2004, the Listener has produced an annual New Zealand Listener Power List of the 50 most powerful people in New Zealand.
