Nicholas James "Nick" Benson (born June 8, 1994; Springfield, Missouri) is an American teen actor. He played Derrick Westerly on the The WB Television Network show Summerland. He is often credited as Nicholas J. Benson.
Benson has two older brothers, Dan Benson and Michael Benson, who are also actors; he began his acting career in 2001 after moving to Florida. He is the son of Jim and Marilee Benson.
