Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Polish: Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu; UMK) is located in Toruń, Poland. It was named after Nicolaus Copernicus who was born in Thorn, Prussia, (now Toruń, Poland) in 1473.
