No. 59 Squadron is a squadron of the Royal Air Force.

History

It was first formed at Narborough in Norfolk on 1 August 1916 as a squadron of the Royal Flying Corps. It was last disbanded at RAF Geilenkirchen in January 1961, by re-numbering as No. 3 Squadron, after serving in the interdictor bomber role flying the EE Canberra B.2 and B(I).8 since 1956.
