The Harbour Heat are a professional basketball team that competes in the New Zealand National Basketball League (NBL). They play their home fixtures at the North Shore Events Centre in North Shore, Auckland. They are sponsored by The Appliance Shed. The 2007 coach is former Australian Olympian and retired Australasian NBL center John Dorge and assistant coach is Tony Webster. Players signed for 2007 include Oscar Forman of the Harvey Norman New Zealand Breakers, Hayden Allen, Jarrod Kenny, Brent Charleton, Nat Connell, Sasha Tasevski and Dan Ryan.
