"Obsession (No Es Amor)" is a single by Frankie J featuring Baby Bash in 2005. The single peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was produced by Reggaeton Dominican producer Nely "El Arma Secreta"
"Obsession (No Es Amor)" was originally written in Spanish as "Obsesión" by "Anthony "Romeo" Santos for his group Aventura, as it was a very popular song in Latin America and Europe long before Frankie J's version became popular in America. Frankie J wrote the English adaption to the song.
The song explains a man's liking of a woman to the point of obsession. However, this feeling is "not love", and is still only and just an obsession. Model Vida Guerra made a cameo in the video as his love interest and object of his obsession.
3rd Wish has a similar song called "Obsession: Si es amor" but it was not as popular as Frankie J's or Aventura's.
