The 9th congressional district of Ohio has been represented by Representative Marcia C. Kaptur (D) since 1983.

This district is in the northern part of the state, bordering Michigan and Ontario, Canada (via Lake Erie), and includes the counties of Erie, Lorain, Lucas, and Ottawa.
