The Ohio Renaissance Festival is an annual event that takes place on weekends from late August through October. This Renaissance festival is held in Harveysburg, Ohio. It is set in a 16th century English village, during the reign of Elizabeth I. The fairgrounds are 30 acres (120,000 m2) in area, and include shops, stages, and regularly scheduled simulated jousting and fencing tournaments as well as a mud show. The queen and her parade make a circuit through the fairgrounds a couple times a day.
