Club career

Predominantly a left back, Bhasera began his career in his homeland with Harare United before joining Tembisa Classic in 2004. A year later he was signed by South African Premier Soccer League club Maritzburg United. He established himself as a first-team regular there and caught the attention of leading South African club the Kaizer Chiefs. Bhasera signed for them in 2007 and quickly became a regular on the clubs left side. He joined English Premier League club Portsmouth in July 2009, but a permanent transfer did not materialise.[2] He subsequently spent time with Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday, and is now on loan with Plymouth Argyle.[3]

International career

Bhasera has represented Zimbabwe at senior level since 2006.[1]
