Opochka (Russian: Опочка) is a town in Pskov Oblast, Russia, located on the Velikaya River, 130 km south of Pskov, in the proximity of Pushkin's family home Mikhailovskoye. It is the birth place of architect Lev Rudnev and geologist Nikolai Kudryavtsev. Population: 13,964 (2002 Census).
