2001 To 2003

In the first leg Oriente won 1-0 and the second leg The strongest won 2-1. They played an extra game and Oriente won on Penalty, to secure a place in the Copa Libertadores.
In the Copa Libertadores 2003 Oriente made the worst participation after finishing at bottom with only 1 point.
2008 To Present
In 2008 Oriente finished 4th in the Apertura 2008 and not gaining the Copa Sudamericana or Copa Libertadores, but they had two more championship to be played. In the Clausura Oriente couldn't avance to the next stage after finishing third and letting Aurora qualify.
In the Torneo Play Off Oriente at least qualified to the Loser's round in that round Oriente beat Aurora by 6-0, but in the final they loses against San Jose 4-2 on Aggregate.
In 2009 the Bolivian Professional Football League (LFPB) confirmed the club The Strongest as Clausura 2004 tournament champion, after five years of the challenge with which they took the title in tennis squad won tabby with Oriente. In 2009 Oriente was close to the title, but they couldn't win their last two away games against The Strongest and Bolivar. In the Clausura Oriente could advance to next stage, in the quarter-final Oriente surprisingly knocked out Bolivar (anyway, they qualified as the best loser). In the semi-final they lost against their classic rival Blooming. Fortunately Oriente gained the third place in Clausura that gave Oriente a second participation in the Copa Sudamericana.
In the Torneo Playoff Oriente eliminated their rival Club Blooming Blooming (Qualified to best Loser's round), in the quarter-final Oriente eliminated San Jose. In the Semi-final Oriente was eliminated by Bolivar after drawing in two games. This year Oriente Petroler spent a lot of money in striker, but after two years Oriente qualified to a International Cup
2010 To Present
Oriente began with Aerosur Cup , unfortunately they were eliminated in the first stage after been eliminated , they received an ivitation from Peruvian Football Federation to participate in the Peru International Cup. 3rd February they eliminated Deportivo Garcilaso 3-2 in the semi-final they'll beat Cienciano 3-0 on penalties after draw 0-0 and they won their first Peru International Cup.
La pesada verde started with 40 members; the leader of the group was "Chichi" Pérez.
In 2008 Chichi Pérez was blamed for shooting the puffed up with the opposing team. From there Pérez is no longer the leader.
The last International Fight they had was against Los Borrachos del Tablon in Santa Cruz Stadium when Oriente lost 2-0 against River Plate for the Copa libertadores 2006 First Stage.
Oriente Petrolero home games at the stadium the "Ramon Aguilera Costas", better known as "Tahuichi" owned by the departmental government of Santa Cruz. The scenario also makes the local Blooming, his lifelong rival.
Oriente Potrelero classic rival is Blooming, both teams are from Santa Cruz De La Sierra. This game always draws large attendancet in 2009 Oriente and Blooming played 12 games more than the last year but most of the match ended draw.
