Out of the Box is a Disney Channel show for kids aged 3–8, that took place in a playhouse made entirely of cardboard boxes, where two hosts, Tony James and Vivian Bayubay (also known as Vivian McLaughlin), made crafts, sang songs, acted out plays, continues to air on Disney Channel Australia and Disney Channel Canada. The show ran from 1998-2004.

Two special episodes were released on VHS by Walt Disney Home Video, "Out of the Box: Trick or Treat," and "Out of the Box: Happy Holidays".

Overview

Every day, a small group of neighborhood children come and play in "The Box". Vivian Bayubay, and Tony James (Just known as Tony and Vivian in the series) Play games, do crafts, sing songs, and act out stories in the box. Sometimes at certain parts of the show, the kids get into mini-arguments, but are soon solved by their caregivers. (One major squabble was in "Revealing Feelings" (season 1) where Tony was home with a cold, and the children were missing him very much). The singing is usually towards the start, while the crafts are in-between, and the stories are at the end. The show finishes off with either Tony or Vivian, walking the kids home, and come back and sing the "Goodbye Song."
