Outlaw Recordz is a record label that was founded in 1999 formed by Hip-Hop Group Outlawz and with partner Gary Tyler.[1]
After leaving Death Row Records, E.D.I., Kastro, Napoleon and Young Noble along with Gary "Big G" Tupac Shakur founded Outlaw Recordz in late 1995 after 2pac was released from prison,2pac featured his new found group in the song Hit 'em Up,which was dissing on Biggie,Bady Boyz Record Label and otha eastcoast rappers. through Spice 1 they got in contact with Bayside Entertainment Distribution who they signed a distribution deal with. On November 7, 2000, election day, Outlaw Recordz's debut and the Outlawz's second LP, Ride Wit Us or Collide Wit Us, was released, it debuted at the 95th position on the Billboard 200, the 16th on the R&B/hip-hop albums and the 7th on the top independent albums charts, the first and second single and video were "Black Rain" and "Thug With Me." The LP became best selling independent rap album of 2000.[2]
