Padshahan is a village and union council, an administrative subdivision, of Chakwal District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan, it is part of Chakwal Tehsil. It is well known because of the home village of L. Gen. (R) Abdul Qayyum, Ex. Military Secretary of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto, the Ex-Chairman of the Pakistan Ordinance Factories, Wah Cantt and the Ex-Chairman of the Pakistan Steel. The village of Padshahan is also famous for the Padshahan Mela. The main local political leaders of this village is Khan Nasir Khan, Ch. Sarfaraz Khan, Nazim Union Council Padshahan and Qazi Muhammad Shafiq Ranjha the Ex-Nazim of Padshahan. There is a Higher Secondary School for Boys (my school) and a Higher Secondary School for Girls. There is also a Hospital in the village. I pray my Quran Teacher Abdul Aziz, Mazhar Sahib and my uncle Muhammad Bashir (Muhammad Muneeb Aslam) [1] and is located at 33°1'0N 73°1'60E[2].
