Palisades del Rey (also, Palisades Del Rey) is a former settlement in Los Angeles County, California.[1] It lay at an elevation of 135 feet (41 m).[1]

Palisades del Rey,[2][3][4] also known as Surfridge, was a community of 822 homes occupying 470 acres (190 ha) in Los Angeles County, California. It lay south of Playa del Rey and north of El Segundo and immediately west of the perimeter of Los Angeles International Airport. The area is bounded by Rindge Avenue, Waterview Street, Pershing Drive, West Imperial Highway, and Vista del Mar.

Palisades del Rey was originally constructed in the 1920s. In the 1960s and 1970s, the area was acquired by the City of Los Angeles in a series of eminent domain purchases and all the properties were demolished. It is now the protected habitat for the endangered El Segundo blue butterfly.

The beach to the west of the area is Dockweiler State Beach.
