Patricia Helen Stickler was born 3 February 1932 in Brisbane, Queensland to Donald Arthur Stickler (1911-1986) and Olive Emily Black (1913-1970) and died 1995 in Brisbane, in Queensland, at the age of 62 years of unspecified causes. Patricia Helen married Arthur Allan Bang 7 April 1951 in Brisbane, Queensland. "Lone Pine was one of the battles the Australians fought in World War I, so it was not received very well when the Japanese recently bought it”.

When her grandma (Maud Lilley Burgess, 1875-1962) died a couple of large photo albums, bought over from England went to the other side of the family. The 'Pumps' side of the family as Pat Bang puts it. `Pumps' being a nickname Pat gave to her grandfather (Arthur Darlington Bryer) when she was a child and it stuck'.

Her grandmother (Maud Lilley Burgess) married Arthur Bryer after the tragic death of her first husband (Albert Thomas Arthur Stickler, 1862-1910). Pat (quite understandably) found it disappointing that the photo albums went to the Bryer side of the family. She felt the photos could have told her a lot. However, she did inherit the 'Family Bible'; see a transcript of the entries on the first two pages of the Family Bible 'given by George Burgess (1929-1905) to his second wife 'Bessie' (Eliza Knight, 1844-1878)' in the Photo Gallery below (click image to enlarge:
