Paul Steenstrup Koht (1844 – 1892) was a Norwegian educator and politician for the Liberal Party.

He was elected to the Parliament of Norway from the constituency Skien in 1889 and 1892. He was a headmaster in that city.[1]

Together with Betty Giæver (1845–1936) he had the son Halvdan Koht, a notable historian and politician. Halvdan Koht married Karen Grude Koht, a daughter of Martin Adolf Grude. They had the children Paul Gruda Koht and Åse Gruda Skard.[2] Åse Gruda Skard married Sigmund Skard, and was the mother of Halvdan Skard, Målfrid Grude Flekkøy and Torild Skard.[3]
