Paul Tipton (born May 26, 1954) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler who played for Cheshire. He was born in Manchester.

Tipton, who represented Cheshire in the Minor Counties Championship between 1971 and 1983, made a single List A appearance, in his final year at the club, against Kent in the NatWest Trophy. From the opening order, he scored 5 runs with the bat.
