Peniel Kokou Mlapa (born 20 February 1991 in Lomé) is a German-Togolese football striker who is a member of 1860 Munich.

Career

Mlapa began his career with FC Unterföhring, in the year 1999 he was scouted by TSV 1860 München and becomes the topscorer with eleven goals in the B-Junioren Bundesliga Season 2007/2008.[1] He played his debut in the 2. Bundesliga on 17 May 2009 against Alemannia Aachen[2] and was promoted to the first team on 2 June 2009[3].

International career

On October, 7th 2009 he made his debut for the German U19 team against Luxemburg. Mlapa was called by the Togolese national team for a WC Qualifier against Gabon on November 14, 2009, but he rejected the offer.[4]

Personal

Mlapa also holds a German passport[5].
