From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Pentax pc35af is a 35mm film camera with autofocus. It is neither an SLR nor a "point and shoot" camera. There is a self timer, flash, autofocus, ISO range, and film rewind. The ISO range it a black slider on the bottom of the camera. The film rewind knob activates the lock to open the camera for film loading. Folding it out (as normally to rewind the film), then tug and the film cover opens. The lens cover opens with a small red tab toward the edge of the front to the left. Right by the strap ring. Pushing it down, the cover springs to the left. Then the user can open the flash if needed. Next to the ISO range on the bottom to the right of the range, there is a large tab with a flash icon on it. Slide it to the left and the flash will pop up. The flash will not open unless the lens cover is. The flash will not work even though its showing, unless the user engages the flash switch to pop up the flash.
