Production

The film was developed online at Massify.com. Writers uploaded story concepts and actors submitted audition videos.[2] The winning idea was submitted by Jeremy Donaldson.[2][3][4] Filmed on locations in Romania, and produced by After Dark Films, and Massify in association with FanLib, Perkins' 14 is now in post-production in New York setting up for a January 2009 release at the 3rd annual Horrorfest.[1][2][5]

Synopsis

Perkins' 14 follows the life of Ronald Perkins (Richard Brake), who becomes mentally unstable when his parents are brutally murdered inside their home when he was six years old.[1][2] His paranoia has him convinced that the killers will return in the future to kill him as well.[1][2] At age 34, Perkins snaps and kidnaps 14 people from his hometown of Stone Cove, brainwashes them, and creates a unified team of psycho killers.[1][2] When Perkins is imprisoned, the police unwittingly unleash his followers on a small town and they have only one thing on their mind: "Kill for Mr. Perkins."
